What can I expect when getting veneers?

We’re always keen to learn about your expectations of treatment so we can adopt a bespoke approach. We will ask you a few questions to know how you feel about your smile and what you wish to change, in addition to performing a general examination of your smile to make sure you’re suitable. Measurements of your smile are taken so your veneer can be custom-created at the dental laboratory and sent back to us. Once we receive it back, we can prepare your tooth by removing a very small amount of tooth matter so your veneer fits perfectly over the top and is the correct thickness. It’s then bonded to your tooth using a special strong adhesive and fits over your tooth in the same way a false nail fits over a real nail, protecting it from further damage. Your veneer will match the shade of your existing teeth, making it a perfect aesthetic fit for your smile.
